    Cool graphic effects (all)

It's getting warm in Perth W.A. - time for cool effects.

Check out <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wave947.fm>http://www.wave947.fm</A> by sliding (not dragging) your mouse across the graphics at the top of the screen. Try to break the sound barrier ("pop, pop, pop, ...").

How do I go about creating these visual effects on my GUI forms in Word97/VBA or higher? Yes, i know that they are p[robably written in Java or soemthing I don't know, .....

    Chris

Now that was a cool effect, unfortunately you are right, if VBA could hold water, and I am not bad mouthing VBA, but it just seems that all my features that I want are in version 27.

I guess this is done via some sort of a Java or web authoring tool like MacroMedia.

Very neat though, and it takes a while to load, so if might not be so simple.

I've had a bit more time to think about it.

    I think that essentials are:

    (1) determine the x,y coordinates of the mouse in real-time.
    (2) draw a circle (or any suitable shape).
    (3) erase any shape more than x seconds old.
