    Can't uninstall Deltek Advantage program

    I recently bought a computer at an auction for a co. that went bankrupt. It has a timekeeping program on it-Deltek Advantage 9.1h. I tried to uninstall it but when I click on uninstall this window pops up.
    >SetupNew\setup.cpp(143)
    PAPP:
    PVENDOR:
    PGUID:
    $15.0.0.498
    @Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600)
    IE Version 7.0.5730.13
    My only options are an OK button or an X to close the window. They both do the same thing. Nothing else happens, how do I uninstall it?

    Try using Revo Uninstaller, they have a free version that may be of use. I would backup the computer as a standard precautionary measure.

    Well, that mostly worked. I still have an entry in the programs list for Deltek Advantage-search for updates. I guess I can live with that but is there any way to delete it?

    Thanks, Urge

    Have you tried using Revo on that one too?

    There is no listing for it in Add/Remove programs and it doesn't come up in the revo program. I think it's leftovers from the Deltek Advantage program. Where are all the listings for the programs that are listed at Start-Programs located?

    The listing can be in several places, depending on whether the program was installed just for you or for all users.

    You: C:\Documents and Settings\YourNameHere\Start Menu
    All users:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

    It's listed in All Users, If I delete the listing I think it shouldn't cause any problems and I haven't seen any evidence that the program has ever searched for updates by itself. I think when I uninstalled the main program it lost that ability. If I didn't do anything I think it wouldn't be an active program. It appears to me that you have to clic on it before it will search for updates.
