Installed the release preview on a dual boot machine. Everything seems fine. A lot faster and smoother than the CP running from a VM (probably due to running on an SSD!). Some things seem a little easier to get done than before.
However, I have a strange problem when I attempt to shutdown.
The box has a multi media adapter unit connected via an internal USB header. This gives a USB port, a CF, an SD a MMC and a couple of other media ports on the front panel. These appear as mapped drives in Windows Explorer exactly the same as Win7. When I shutdown, I get an exception message that there is no disk in Drive F, then Drive G, then Drive H etc. Options are Retry, Ignore and Continue. Retry and Ignore just cycle back to the same message. Continue skips onto the next "missing" disk until I get to the final "disk" whereupon hitting Continue causes shutdown to be initiated.
The install was clean with no errors. The ISO checksum was validated and the DVD verified after burning. The event logs show no underlying errors......Can't see it being an installation issue.
