    Clear Browsing History Automatically (Chrome)

    Hi there -

I use Google Chrome for Windows. I'd like to have the browser automatically clear certain data, like my browsing history, every X days, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

Any ideas? Is there perhaps a plug-in that does this?

    Thanks so much.

Wrench, Settings, Advanced Settings, Privacy, Content Settings.

I believe this will help you. You most likely have to set exceptions for those sites you do not wish to clear.

Hi Ted - Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I don't see anywhere in "Content Settings" to set the number of the days... Am I just not looking carefully enough? Can you clarify? Thanks again.

See if the drop down box under Clear browsing data will fulfill your requirements. The cleaning process on Google Chrome seems a little hard to set up. This is my secondary browser. I use IE as my main browser.

Nope. To recap: I'm looking for my history to be cleared automatically on a regular basis... Thanks.
