    Hi
First resort in this sort of situation should be to the manufacturer's web site and download the latest drivers for your hardware/OS combination.

    Re: logitech QuickCam

    Hi Billmac:

When I'm completely clueless about where the files are that sfc wants me to reinstall, I do the following:
    1. Write them down.
    2. Search the entire hard drive by clicking the taskbar, pressing F3, making sure the "look in" refers to the primary hard drive or "My Computer". Then I type in each of the files separated by a semicolon.
    3. Search the CD or floppy where I think it might be, using a similar technique.
    4. Don't forget that sfc backs up files that it has prevously replaced. You can find them in:
C:WINDOWShelpdeskSFC, unless you've modified the location.

Note that deleted files may not necessarily be the cause of the problem. Good luck.

    Hope this helps.
