    Stationery in Windows Mail

This question is about Windows Mail---Not Windows Live Mail..

I run Windows mail in Windows 7 and sent myself a message to my Gmail account and was wondering why the when reading the message in Gmail only my signature shows and not the stationary I used in composing the email..

    Any ideas?

Hi Banyarola, I use Gmail but only in WLM 2009 version. Look in your Gmail settings 'Lab' tab.
Will test mine if you want.

I looked in Labs and didn't see anything that seems relative to it.

Let me know after you try it what happens.

    Thanks RR

I sent an email + stationery from my WLM Gmail account to another Gmail, Hotmail and AOL account, and accessed them directly. The only one that showed the stationary was WLM 'Sent Items' folder in WLM.

Hmmm, RR...I wonder why that happens and why the stationary gets stripped out...

What all this means is that using stationary will only show on stand alone email programs and not in online email accounts like gmail, yahoo etc....

I either Thunderbird or Windows mail and use Gmail mostly to subscribe to things.

My tests were done by adding stationary manually. Now going to try by ticking the red box in my image.

Manual or auto. It shouldn't make a difference.

Well RR, it seems to work with AOL mail...
Now the question is why does it work in AOL and not in Hotmail...

    Any thoughts?
