I am not familiar with virtualization.

I have both VMWare Player and VitualBox v.4.1.16 uinstalled on my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bits) using XP SP2.

I want to compare both and decide which one suits me best.

Both are OK, but VBox seems better and a bit faster.

For a time both worked just fine.

Yesterday, I was tweaking with VBox when something went wrong.
Now I can't run VBox anymore.
As always, it starts by showing the black XP screen being loaded and before the blue "Welcome" screen appears, it switches off and returns to the Windows 7 desktop.

I tried the repair option (Programs<>Control Panel) but it didn't work.

Uninstalled and re-installed VBox, but the problem still remains.

How to completely remove VBox to start with a fresh install?

In the meantime I will be using VMware, but with your help I'm hoping to have VBox back on track again.

Any help is welcome.
