Microsoft ordered to pay €860 million EU fine
It looks like Microsoft got off lightly after the General Court of the EU reduced the fine imposed by the EU Commission by €39 million leaving them just €860 million out of pocket.
Also, costs have been reduced too with the Free Software Foundation, Samba Team and others in the collective having to pay 20% of their own expenses. Microsoft does have to pay its own costs though.
Will this make a difference to Microsoft's plans to exclude Firefox from Windows RT I wonder?
