It looks like Microsoft got off lightly after the General Court of the EU reduced the fine imposed by the EU Commission by 39 million leaving them just 860 million out of pocket.

Also, costs have been reduced too with the Free Software Foundation, Samba Team and others in the collective having to pay 20% of their own expenses. Microsoft does have to pay its own costs though.

Will this make a difference to Microsoft's plans to exclude Firefox from Windows RT I wonder?
