Question Encrypting messages in Outlook 2010

Back in the day I was able to use PGP freeware to encrypt messages on Outlook. There was even a nice plug-in. That no longer works with modern versions of Outlook.

PGP was subsumed into Symantec, and that's not a company I want to do business with, so I was looking for alternatives. GnuPG seems like an option, but none of their Windows tools work with Outlook 2010. Are there any worthwhile alternatives out there?

I'd like to be able to open some of my old PGP encrypted messages. If I can't do that with an Outlook plug-in then even manually would be OK. However, I can't get the
GnuPG tools to work on my Vista machine. I wonder if it would be better to put an old version of Outlook and PGP into a virtual PC running XP...

    Any alternatives?

Comodo has one which is free for personal use: http://www.comodo.com/home/email-sec...cure-email.php

Trend Micro has one too, but it's not free I'm afraid: http://www.trendmicro.co.uk/products...ion/index.html
