    Duplications

    What happened?

About 2 months ago, I went on vacation (lucky me). Prior to that, things seemed to work OK on the lounges that I subscribed to. When I came back, of course I had a huge back log of email, including lots of lounge email. I've been going thru it and caught up with my Word email. Still need to get thru my Excel email.

I've noticed some problems in the Word email (haven't checked Excel yet) since I've been back that I never saw before I left.
    - sometimes I get 2-3 Word emails per day. The first is usually around 1AM EST, which is the time I've always seen. The others are later in the day. Sometimes they are a subset of the 1AM email, sometimes there's an intersection but additional postings may also be present
    - sometimes I see Word email with postings that were already present in the previous day's email. this may be related to the first item.

Since I'm not a regular follower of this lounge, I wonder if this has been noted. If all it takes to correct this is for me to go on another vacation, I'm on my way. In the meantime, it does take up some time to read thru things I've already seen.

    Thanks

    Fred

    Re: Duplications

    Dave,

    Thks.

I think your referenced thread explains the multiple archive transmittals in a day (not just when we changed off daylight savings time, since I was getting them before then). I had also seen the archive with "To unsubscribe..." altho I didn't mention it (1-time occurrence).

But the thread did not mention anything about postings showing up in multiple transmittals (my first problem). So do you know (or does Eileen) if this is related to those "tweaks"?

    thks

    Dave,

correction on my post of a moment ago - the multiple transmittals of a posting was my second problem in my original question. doesn't change the issue.

Keep an eye on what happens over the next few days and let me know if your problem still exists.

    Re: Duplications

    Chris,

When we spring forward, we'll be able to divine the archive by mental telepathy and won't even have to power up the PC to read the email.

Or I'll take another vacation and the problem will be gone when I come back.

    Either solution works for me.
