    Well Ted, just have to try not being tempted to click on pop-ups...

    Unfortunately, many people will..That's the reason they keep using them and are so successful at infecting computers

    I learned long ago, if something pops up expectantly and unasked for, I kill it. The best way to kill it as well is through Task Manager as some of these devious pop-ups have reprogrammed the Red X to activate the nasty.

    I agree Ted..

    I know someone that clicks on EVERYTHING to the point that her computer gets so infected she has to take it to a shop to get fixed..
    I gave up fixing it for her and no matter how many times I told here she just can't stop clicking away..

    Funny thing, her Anti virus was FOUR years old...It was the trial version that came with the PC...

    No matter how many times I told her to get MSE she just doesn't listen..
