Use All-in-one PC as a monitor
I have purchased a DELL all-in-one PC that is running windows 7 home premium (I5 6GB memory). When the PC is not being used; I want to use it an an external monitor or TV.
I can plug in the necessary cables and press a button to change the display to accept the other imputs.
My problem is that when I use monitor; the windows has to start. ( Windows is not required to use the monitor)
I am looking for suggestions in how to setup the PC so that it starts with minimum parts of windows loading.
I was thinking alone the lines of a duel boot. One part boots into windows and the other part boots into "something else".
Has anyone got some suggestions of what this "something else" could be ?
It could be a duel boot and the menu waits for input.
Please give me your suggestions
