    "IE 9 Has stopped working"

    I a using Win 7 and IE9, broadband connection. At frequent intervals I get a warning popping up;

    "Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

    There is only a Close button. It's a global warning, right in front of anything on screen. If I click on the button the warning disappears, IE does not close, and seems to work normally, until the next interruption by this warning.

    Anyone else getting this?

    Yes, it does happen sometimes. You could try and start IE without addons, as explained here, and see if that helps. If it doesn't, all I can suggest that you try another browser.

    Thank you, I've got the add-ons disabled and will see how it goes. The only reason I'm using IE is that the finger-print reader on my laptop, which I use to log-in to Websites etc, seems to work better with IE rather than Firefox.
