Outlook 2010 has a message stuck in the Send Folder

I have a large excel file stuck in my send folder that I can't delet. The message states that Outlook has started to send so I can't delet it.
I have tried setting outlook to "Work offline" Still won,t let me delet the file.

    Any suggestions?

You should have a send receive status bar at the bottom right of the Outlook Window. Click it, click Cancel All and then you should be able to delete the message. If you don't see the status bar, click the send / receive button in the home tab, to start a send / receive. You should see the bar then and you can click it.

Sorry, that has always worked for me.
What if you set Outlook to work offline, close it and then open it again?
