    Can't delete MS FixIt

After downloading a driver for my printer and finding it didn't work, I tried to download an MS FixIt, but got a message saying that I needed administrator permission to do so, even though I am oin the admin account on my own Windows 7 machine at home. Now I can't delete the icon from the desktop, which tells me the same thing about permission. No opportunity I can find to even enter the admin password, jus tthe same message that I need permission.

    Help appreciated.

Install Take Ownership in the Right Click context menu. Take Ownership of the troubled files then try to delete again. (At times you have to reboot before the OS will release the file)
