    fast shut down

In the last windows secrets it showed how to change the "clearpagefileatshutdown." I tried it, and it worked great ONLY problem isthe registry does not save the change on the value data. I have to go in each time and change the value data. Anyway I can make the 0 value data the default? The time difference is amazing, from a few minutes to a few seconds!
Thank You for any info someone might have

Odd! I've just looked at the contents of
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management
    and find
    Value Name: ClearPageFileAtShutdown
    Value Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 0

Whether it has always been like that, or whether I changed it some time in the long-forgotten past, I'm afraid I don't know...

(Nor do I know why the above registry key shows with an intrusive blank between 'o' and 'l'!)

All typing errors are my own work and subject to patents pending. Except errors by the spell checker. And that has its own patients.
