Transferring iPhone from old Win 7 computer to new Win 7 computer.

    Hi

I've purchased a new Win 7 computer to replace another one.

My iPhone and iPad sync to the old computer.

Is there a simple way to transfer them to the new computer?

    Thanks.

Most likely you will have to simply reinstall all needed apps to the new PC. You could try Easy Transfer, but I believe this is more for upgrading to a new OS.

Easy Transfer works between two Windows 7 installations as well as XP or Vista to Windows 7. I'm not sure if it will pick up the Sync Data unless its kept in a My Documents subdirectory. If it uses Itunes, I once upgraded a PC copying over the Itunes data directories in the same place as they were in the old computer and it seemed to pick up everything. You might want to look at this Apple document:

If you have an Apple Store near you, I'm sure they could walk you through the process.
