    NET Framework error

I'm getting the error below sporadically. I tried running a repair, but that didn't seem to fix it. How do I fix this, or do I uninstall it? And if I do that do I get the re-install?

The error appears to be in an application rather than the .Net framework; so I think you may need to work out which program was running, or click on the Details button.

Bruce, I don't think it's caused by some program, as it happens constantly, and with software that shouldn't cause problems -- browsers, editors... -- that I've run for quite some time. Seems to show up most when I'm trying to install something.

I've never seen this before, so I have no clue as to what caused it or how to fix it. I've uninstalled Framework and reinstalled it, but the error still shows.

    Chuck Billow

Is there anything in the Event Viewer that relates to the error? Look at all the Error entries in the summary box and scan the entries in Windows Logs>Applications.

I'm showing a few errors Jerry, but not readily apparent as because of FRAMEWORK.

Its normal to have some event viewer errors. Most are benign. I was hoping for a clue to an application error or a .dot net error. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
