    Question Fliping a range

I have Alphanumeric data in an ExcelSpread sheet in D278. I need to flip it over so that D78 is in row 2. I found an old post from 2001 but it is out of date and I didn't understand it anyway. I'm using Excel 2010. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Are you completely reversing the data or just the last row (78) moving to the 2nd row and everything else down a row?

If you're reversing all of the rows, you could put the number 78 in E2, 77 in E3 and then fill down. Then, sort by col E, then delete col E.
Or put 1, 2, 3, ... in the new column and fill down and sort in descending order.

Alternatively, you could reverse the rows using a macro.

Auto-fill the next column with numbers starting in row 2.
Sort both columns using the auto-filled range.

    cheers, Paul
