    Darik's Boot and Nuke is a good one, probably one of the better ones to use, that the article makes mention of.
    Especially for the operating system primary boot drive.

    We recently did this with my wife's old phone (Blackberry) They also have a Reset To Factory setting. Both our new Android phones have this setting as well. Good information. People think PCs are the only vulnerable devices, Just ain't so folks. Phones are in essence mini PCs.
