Number of characters in hyperlink screentips

    Hi
Is there any way to increase the number of characters in a hyperlink screentip.

Alternatively is there any other way to produce screen popups with more than 255 characters
    cheers

    Hi Phil,

Screen Tips in excess of 2000 characters are possible by inputting them directly into the field code. Not that I recommend a 2000-character screen tip ...

    Hi Phil,

The hyperlink field, which is what you asked about.

    Thanks again Paul

What I have wound up doig is creating a whole lot of endnotes, which suits my purpose in that staff using my checklist hover over the clause number and get very detailed information about that clause.

It took me a while to figure out how to use the cross reference feature, to refer to an existing endnote, but this works well also.

Thanks again for all your help
    cheers
