    Question Installing a program.

    Hi Loungers,

This shows how I install a program Installing.docx Can anyone tell me if it then 'Runs as Administrator' when used. e.g. Winpatrol runs at start-up but gives a UAC prompt if opened.

    RR,

No! You installed it as Administrator but when you go to run the program it has a different name and it's content/operations will determine if it needs administrator privledges. You can get around UAC prompts by creating scheduled tasks and shortcuts to those tasks. See post #5 here.
