    MS Essentials

I have MSE set to auto scan weekly, and it says it did so per schedule. But a day later it tells me I haven't run a scan in awhile and I ought to do so. Must I run daily in order to not get this alert (hope not!).

    Al,

?Have you cleaned your system (including automagically) with, e.g., CCleaner in the interim??

When using a cleaner such as CCleaner you must uncheck the MSE log file, because MSE stores the info on when it scanned in this log file. If you remove it as a part of your regular cleaning, MSE will think it has not scanned in a while.

No Zig - No cleanup since I installed it with any cleaner.

Thanks Ted - Good to know since I do use ccleaner on occasion. But not since my last few MSE scans.
