    Scroll problem in Favorites

I have recently encountered a strange (and very annoying!) problem in Favorites. When I try to add another bookmark to an existing folder in the list, either the scroll bar or the mouse wheel will move down the list but then immediately move right back up to original position. Since I have a lot of bookmarks I am unable to move down to the bottom of the list. If anyone has any idea how to correct this behavior, I would sure like to hear about it!

This is when he's adding favorites. Getting there from the menu won't make any difference.

Organize your favorites into folders and subfolders so that there is little need for extended mouse level scrolling.

Good idea but I aready have so many folders and sub-folders, that is where the problem arises and I may have to scroll to get to the bottom of the list!

And I thought I had alot of bookmarks; 1,016 Files in 115 Folders.
How long has this scrolling issue been going on?
Are we hitting a wall in terms of sheer amount?

    CLiNT-

I only have 1,752 files in 262 folders! LOL I obviously don't use all of them all the time but they sure are handy to have when the need arises. I think this behavior started a couple weeks ago but it might have been longer. I wouldn't think that there would be any size limitation other than, of course, available disk storage, of which I still have 849GB. Again, LOL

The plot thickens! I am dealing with two computers, one in Maine where I spend my summers and the other in North Carolina, which is my residence of record. I routinely connect to the NC computer (several times a day) using LogMeIn Pro remote connection software. The Maine computer is an HP Pavilion p7-1010 and the NC computer is a Dell Studio XPS 8100, both running Windows 7 Home Edition, both kept religiously up to date. Anyway, when I was connected to the NC computer yesterday I checked my Favorites folder and, lo and behold, the scrolling behavior is NOT present there. I guess that should be telling me something but I am not sure just what that is!
