    Continued Use for old PC

I would like to use an old Compaq PC (Offline) running Windows XP as a storage device for say: A system image of my Dell PC running Windows '7', or for my daughters files, settings, and programs when I clean and upgrade her PC. Have some experience, but just not sure? Appreciate the help & suggestions. Dayo

Maybe could set it up as a NAS device or a server on the network so can store Data Files from the other computers and access them from any computer. Not sure how to do it but Google might give clues on how to set it up

I would suggest looking into an external bay that will work with the HDD that is in the old Dell. It takes up less space and is more efficient all around. You can find these online for around $20 US.
