Links don't work in Outlook 2010

I've used Outlook2010 for emails for over a year with no problems.

In just the last couple of days I've been unable to use hyperlinks, I get this response;-

I'm not aware of any changes I've made that might have caused this, and I can't find any options that might affect this.

Can anyone suggest a reason or remedy for this?

Did you recently uninstall the Chrome browser?

Anyway, see here: Outlook 2007 Web toolbar suddenly not working

And then use Microsoft's Fix It: You receive an error message when you click a hyperlink in Outlook

    Thanks, Bruce. The fixit worked.

I did uninstall Chrome, which was installed when I applied an update to Flash Player.
I'm normally very careful to uncheck boxes offering Chrome or Google toolbars etc., I must have missed it this time.

Good. Yes, it's getting more difficult to avoid unwanted add-ons all the time. I acquired two unwanted toolbars this week where I could have sworn I unchecked boxes on install.

I had the same problem but it was not caused by installing Chrome because I don't use Chrome. The "Microsoft fix it" worked very well. Thanks for the advice.
