Twitter icon on website can fill history

I've noticed that sites with the Twitter icon made the back button non functional. Right clicking on the back button reveals a large number of platform.twitter.com/widgets/xxx URLs in the browser’s history list. I fixed it by
opening Control Panel > Internet Options
    Click on the Security tab
    Click on Restricted sites
    Click on the sites button
    add twitter.com
    Click on close, then OK.

This will probably prevent you from ever visiting Twitter again, but i don't do Twitter. Putting this change in will fix all your browsers - IE, Firefox, aand Chrome.

If you do use Twitter, try adding platform.twitter.com instead of Twitter.com. This fixes the problem and still allows you to use Twitter.
