    Excel comment font.

Is there a way to make the font used in Excel 2010 comments a specific font and size every time?

I remember from years ago there was a macro written to do this, but I can't find it now.

Excel picks up the font etc for comments from the Tooltips font in Windows' display properties.

Change that to what you want and Excel will default to it.

Be aware that if you change the default tooltips font, it not only changes it for excel but for many other programs as well...

I vaguely remember the tooltip routine. I'll have to find it in in the Windows 7 I'm using now. It's a little confusing using Windows 7 after using Windos XP for so long a time.

I can live with it as a font in all my programs.

Thanks for the information. I couldn't find that darned thing. It solved a lot of my other little annoyances.
