    Table of Contents

    I have a document with sections including I., A., 1., a., etc. However, when I try and set up a table of contents, it doesn't pick up all the sections (none of the a., b., c., etc.) Any ideas?

    Select the table of contents and reveal the field codes to work out how the TOC is built. This will give us a chance of working out what you need to change.

    What styles do you want in the TOC and at what level?

    {TOC \o "1-4"} builds the toc using outline levels 1 to 4
    {TOC \t "Heading 1,1,Heading 2,2,Heading 3,3, Heading 4,4"} builds a toc explicitly naming the heading styles and the TOC # level the entries appear at
