I called them and they replaced it right away...Within a few days.
I didn't have to send the bad one back, they told me to re-cycle it...

Thanks to you and 'Medico' I contacted Logitech (on a Saturday!) and they are going to send a new replacement.

I didn't have the purchase receipt, but that didn't matter; great Customer Service and being the fickle beast that I am I will continue buying Logitech gear.

    I had the receipt.
It's always a good idea to register the product on their site then there is a record of when you bought it.

I write the date on the bottom of the mouse....

Microsoft is good with their products also.
I had a mouse from them go bad and being it was discontinued they gave me one worth twice as much.

Glad Logitech came through again. I think I had the receipt, but if you registered the mouse (online) when you buy it, then they can see that and will send a replacement without any arguments.

Most of the time I go straight to Logitech. Yeah... they're not as rugged as they once were. I like the arc mice because they feel soooo much better in my hand. Wireless mice batteries, with office use, have to be replaced every 45 days or so.

Oops, I misinterpreted the question as in:
How long will the mouse last now that so many devices have touch screens!
