Equation Editor Font Size (Word 2007)

I am using the equation editor to show a fraction and the answer. I notice that the fraction is much smaller than the answer. Is there a way to tell Word NOT to shrink the fraction?

(And, is there a way to tell the editor to use a different font for text and numbers? The boss wants Courier New.)

EDIT: OK, I just discovered what is going on. If you put the equation to "inline" it shrinks the equation to fit the current font's line size. Thanks Billy G. for doing what you want to happen, and not how I want it.

Equation Editor in Word 2007/Office 2010

There's not a way to change the font, no. However, you may not realize there are actually 2 equation editors in Word 2007 (and Office 2010). "Microsoft Equation 3" is still available if you go to the Insert tab and click on Object, then choose Microsoft Equation 3.0 from the list. If you use that equation editor, you'll have no problem with the fractions resizing when you don't want them to, and you can set the font to anything you want. BUT, it's important that you leave the L.C. Greek, U.C. Greek, and Symbol styles set to Symbol font.

Bob Mathews: Thanks for the information. I had totally forgotten about that option.
