    No Internet Search

    Internet search from the search box on the start button does not work with Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Starter Edition. Other versions of Windows 7 will allow internet search though the start button search bar, but only if through a group policy edit. gpedit.msc (will not work with the 2 above operating systems) is the command to get you started ... Go to User Configuration ... Administrative Templates ... Start Menu and Taskbar ... Double click on "Add Search Internet link to Start menu" ... Click "Enabled" and apply and then close. Next time you open up the search box, you will see the search internet option.

    Again ... this will not work with Home Premium or Starter. Any other version of Windows 7 will work. Good luck.
