    Adobe Acrobat (5.0)

I was wondering if anyone knew how to insert page numbers on a PDF file so that you can see them when you print the document.

    Thanks in Advance

If worst comes to worst, you could FAX it. A receiving FAX typicall applies page numbers at the very edge. They would be "absolute" page numbers, without regard to "sections" and such.

Check out the Text Annotation Tool. I've not used it, but after a brief look, I just hope that your document doesn't have too many pages <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
