How do I delay sending out emails in Outlook for say 10 minutes after I've written them ?

In Outlook 2010 whilst in the compose email window you can click on Options/Delay Delivery.

That allows you to set a time when the email will be sent. Maybe not the perfect answer to your question though!

A systematic and effortless way to achieve it is to have a rule applied to all the emails you send. I have one that delays sending my replies by 2 minutes.

... as outlined by Microsoft: Delay or schedule sending e-mail messages
