    Win 98 BSOD

I woke up an old Dell Latitude and started going through some MS updates and I think Itunes as well. I now get the revolving BSOD. It just keeps going round and round. The Windows disks are long gone. I tried some XP startup disks but it isn't working. Any thoughts on how to get this dinosaur working?
