    Linking and mapping online storage

Is there a way to make my SkyDrive accessible through a mapped drive letter?

    Regards,

When you install Sky Drive, the software should establish a local copy of the cloud based storage.

For example, mine is at D:\User Data\Richard\SkyDrive {I have a second drive installed for my user data rather than use the plain vanilla Drive C:}.

If you really wanted, you could map that path to a Drive letter, but there really should be no need as the folder exists already on the local machine. Right Click on the SkyDrive icon in the notification area an select Open your Sky Drive Folder.

    Hi Chuck,

I had Skydrive installed on both my computers but it caused too much trouble. I now only access it from my browser which has been bookmarked. For security, I have it to ask for username & password everytime.

Requiring login each time is a good idea RR.

    Thanks,
    Chuck
