    Just as I have said. These devices are fine for some minor work activities, but for the real work and/or data entry they just seem to fall short. The S/W keyboards are just lacking, especially on those size screens. Heck, on smartphones (I have a Galaxy S2 with an almost 5 inch screen) just sending involved emails or texts can be cumbersome, especially for those of us with more experience (older).

    My wife quit using the PC with outlook and does all her emailing on the Ipad with its s/w keyboard and hasn't looked back. The latest report shows PC shipments are down for the first time since 2011. (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/26167/...ll_since_2001/) Yes, PCs won't disappear but their share will increasingly diminish.
