    Windows 8 Registry?

    Hi Y'all,

Just finished setting Win 8 Pro up on my main machine dual booting with Win 7.
I've tried to hide the Win 7 OS partition when in Win 8 as I have with both Win 7 HP & Win XP Pro.

However this registry key does not seem to work in Win 8. Does anyone know why? I can't seem to get any relavant results from googling.

Update: This still works on the Win 7 HP side effectively hiding the Win 8 Pro boot drive.

RG, don't know why your registry edit doesn't work but I found this:

    Jerry,

    Thanks it works!
It did require the installation of 7Zip since it comes in a .rar file and the installation of Net Framework 3.5 which the program prompted for and installed automatically.
I sure wish I knew what it did differently than the registry entry though.
