    Create system disk

During the setup of my new win8 computer I saw that I could make one copy of a setup disk.
Anyone know how to do that.

Select "Install from media", and you have the option to create an ISO (which you will later need to burn to a DVD) or use a thumb drive (has to have more than 3GB free space). There is a shortcut on the desktop, meanwhile, that says "Continue install from hard drive", or words to that effect.

After the installation routine has created the ISO file, you can close the options dialogue box, burn your DVD, then launch the installation from the shortcut on the desktop.

At least that's the way I did it, and it worked fine.
Create a fresh drive image before making system changes, in case you need to start over!

The link I included above shows how to create a System Rescue disk for Win 8 if a person did not burn the ISO file to disk in the first place. I suspect many did not do this and consequently do not have access to the Rescue Functions and the Repair Console.
