Blank VBA Error when running macro from Ribbon or QAT

    Hello all,

I recorded and tweaked what I thought was a simple macro to insert the document path information in a Word document. It runs fine from the Macro dialog on the Developer tab, but when I try to add it to the Ribbon or QAT, I get a blank VBA error. This occurs on both my laptop and desktop - both running Word 2010 and Windows 7. I have succesfully added many other macros to the Ribbon and/or QAT, and this is the first time I have encountered a problem. I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot this to no avail. I would appreciate any enlightenment from the experts!

The code and error are attached.

    Thank you!

It seems you need to give the routine a different name than docid.

Well doggone it, I never thought of that! I changed it to Insertdocid, and now it works. Thank you so much!
