    Project central (2000)

Our company is considering using project central to manage our consulting assignments. We have people working on multiple sites managing various projects that share a common resource pool. Has anyone done this or anything similar using project central? If not what other recommendations can the lounge provide?

Project Central is a great tool to use for what you are asking. You can upload various projects and view them without having project loaded. Furthermore, your team or resources can update their timesheets, send status reports and delegate or add tasks as needed.
Your best bet is to go to www.microsoft.com/project for more details on installing and implementing project central. There is a resource kit that comes on the CD that you can print out and read about project central or just download it from microsofts web site.

Hi Tanya and everyone. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I am using Central and 2000. I love the timesheet feature of Central but have yet to figure out how in the world to get a timesheet to print out (I am trying to replace our Excel based ones that we manually do). Again, any help would be appreciated.
