    View files on wireless network

I have a functioning wireless network using Windows 7 on my laptop and Vista on my desk top.
I can view laptop documents from my desktop but cannot view desktop documents from my laptop.
    Any suggestions?

Check your sharing settings on the desktop. It sounds like you are not allowing sharing on the desktop.

Thanks for your reply. On my desktop, I have file sharing turned on and password protected sharing turned off.

Is your wireless network defined as a public network? That will prevent accessing your shares over that network.

Check the Network and Sharing Center - the network should be a home network.

I found that I had to fix sharing on a folder by folder basis. First I right clicked on the C Drive and selected Sharing, then Advanced Sharing. I then went down the line with all the folders I wanted to share and set up Sharing.
