Formatting a calculation result in VB Express 2008

I have a 6 to 9 decimal number as the result of a calculation and I need to reduce it to 3 decimals before I write it to a text file. Is there a quick way to do it? Or do I have to *1000 it, int it and then /1000 it?

Hoping to learn if there is anything new.

    Regards, Allan
