    Firefox problem with certified-toolbar

Using Firefox and have a problem with removing certified-toolbar.com. My grandson loaded this and I can not find a way to remove it. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks

    Follow the instructions here :
    http://www.pcrisk.com/removal-guides...tified-toolbar

Then download Malwarebytes and run a full scan.

There are also several sites that give detailed manual removal instructions but they involve modifying the registry and you need the necessary skill set.

    Did you run Malwarebytes?
Is there a related item in Control Panel > Add/Remove programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista or Windows 7)? If so, download and run Revo Uninstaller and use it to uninstall the program.

Try installing CCleaner and run both the files scan and registry scans. This may remove any unwanted entries from registry for you.
