Right click on the Email and select properties. The location field will show you where it's stored. Examining the location should tell you which WLM folder it's stored in.

Did you right click on Test 1? Looks like you right clicked on the unread email folder.
You might have to left click on it first to highlight it.

Is this a hotmail account? If so, try reading it from webmail by logging in to hotmail.com

I have a hotmail account which I changed to the new Outlook.com.
If I log in to hotmail.com it opens my outlook.com account. I don't see anyhing like the test1 mail.
Am I on the right track here?
    Regards
    Dave

Unless its in the Windows Live Mail outbox folder, I'm out of ideas.

Hi Dave, as the item is only in the 'Quick Views' section why not just hide them ?

    Hi George
    Thats what I have done.
I was just intrigued as to why this could not be deleted in the normal way. Rather strange.
    Many thanks
    Regards
    Dave

Hi Dave, I should have stated that the Quick Views are only shortcuts to the entrys. So you would have to access them directly to delete them.
I amazed at how many users don't personalize their WLM settings, here's how mine looks.

    Hi George
Have tried all three highlighted options, no luck.
The attachments show the message could not be moved or copied.

Hi Dave, the only final option is to remove and replace WLM, the snag is, it can be reinstalled as if nothing has happened.
