    RDP port forwarding

Hi I'm acquiring Surface tablet for our sales force but have never set up outside of a LAN with RDP.
How can I do this? Port forwarding? If so how?

    Thank you very much!

Do you want each tablet to remote in to a specific PC?

    How many tablets are there?

You can setup port forwarding in your router. The specifics will vary depending on the router in use.

Can you RDP with a Surface?
Are you running Windows 8 RC on it? If so you won't be able to run "normal" Windows applications.

    cheers, Paul

    Hi guys
    Yes to a specific pc.
I found an app called teamviewer for the surface and another called splashtop for droid.
Is port forwarding a bad idea? If so why?
    Thank you !

Port forwarding is not a bad idea.

You don't need port forwarding with team viewer.
