    Processes query: 'mbamservice.exe' (Malwarebytes Anti-malware)

I'm aware that this process is necessary but does anyone know why it gets so huge during the day? It starts off at a manageable 119k on startup but climbs at a very rapid rate. Later on in the day it's easily taking up over 1.5 GB of my memory. I'm sure my PC is running more slowly these days, could this be the reason?

1.5 GB of active memory is a bit much for a full service MBAM background process, even when caught during a scan.
Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling MBAM?
