    I've come across a few trial applications while browsing the app store, not too many though, and the ones I've seen so far are hardly worth the bother.
    The "dark side" has had the windows 8 pre release long before the actual formal release date. I'm not too terribly surprised.

    What's really got me curious is how long it will take them to crack Windows 8 UEFI secure boot.

    I wonder if they'll figure out how to crack the database which holds all of the Windows 8 Microsoft accounts and passwords. They will have hit the mother lode if they manage that, because so many Windows 8 users are probably using Microsoft accounts rather than local accounts.
