Manage email from multiple machines (Outlook2000)

Anyone got any hints on an effective (yet not as clumsy as Net Folders) method to access/view a single email account from multiple machines without saving copies of messages on the server? I'm not using MS-Exchange Server, but I really need the synchronization of being able to access a single .pst file from anywhere I can get hold of a machine running Outlook. I'm working from plain old peer-to-peer networked PCs with SendMail running on a Linux box in back.

there aren't any really good methods to share psts because psts aren't sharable.

i guess sendmail doesn't support imap? that would probably be the best option for sharing.

look at http://www.slipstick.com for what is available for sharing, a couple of new things have been released recently, including sqlview and a web-based service.
