mail merge won't use outlook contacts ? (Word2002)
I'm trying to merge names from an Outlook Contacts folder into a Document created in Word 2002. I'm using the Mail Merge Wizard. When It asks me to choose my recipients I opt for 'Outlook Contacts'. It then brings up the list of contacts folders that I have, I click on the one that I want and then up pops a dialog box asking me to fill out "Datalink Properties"........what the hell are they? It's trying to get me to choose a database engine and all kinds of stuff that the average user would never ever know anything about.
Surely it shouldn't be this complicated. I consider myself an advanced Word user and have solved hundreds of problems but this seems quite abnormal.
